Hello, Please forgive me if this is already in the list as I have searched but didn't see anything quite like it yet. When I'm using net beans in full screen mode and attempt to access any of the menu options, the selection 'jumps' left about two options making it difficult to make a selection. What I thought was bizarre is when the IDE is not maximized, everything is working just fine and the pointer selects exactly what it is hovering over. I don't seem to be having any issues anywhere else with the pointer, and it seems to be isolated to only when it's maximized and taking up the entire screen that it will jump like this. I am using fedora core 15 alpha and gnome shell.
cannot reproduce Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.0 (Build 201104080000) Java: 1.6.0_25; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 20.0-b11 System: Linux version 2.6.38-8-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb) please provide netbeans and jdk version info and reopen, thanks
Hello, I'm using Netbeans IDE 6.9 (Build 110209-unknown-revn) Java: 1.6.0_22: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 20.0-bll System: Linux version 2.6.38.5-24.fc15.x86_64 running on amd64: UTF-8: en_US (nb) I have been performing updates to the system at least once a week but I'm still noticing this issue. Only when it's maximized though will it select the menu options (File, Edit, View, etc) that are one to two options to the left of where the mouse pointer is actually pointing. It could be an issue with the Gnome Shell, although this is the only program it seems to happen in.
please try running swingset demo app (you'll find it in your jdk folder), thanks
Ok. I ran the swingset app and it looks like everything works fine...when not maximized :) When I maximize it, however, it will let me click on a menu item at the top but they disappear immediately. If I click and hold the button, the menu stays open but you cannot select any of the sub items. As soon as you let go of the button it also disappears. In a normal window it works as expected. Are you thinking it might be a java issue and not really netbeans then? Thanks!
