Hi 
are there any plans for including jpql editor with netbeans 7.0 
i couldn't see any editor in netbeans 7.0 rc2 
as mentioned in the following url 
http://wiki.netbeans.org/NetBeansJPASupport

unfortunately it's just planning and wasn't implemented for 7.0, this page will be reviewed/used for later releases planning.

There is no separate jpql editor so far but 7.2 wull have jpql completion feature in namedquery
