Description matthies 2011-03-28 12:15:54 UTC
Alt+Space to open the main window's system menu doesn't work anymore. I use this all the time to minimize/close/etc. the window. This stopped working only very recently.

Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.0 RC1 (Build 201103250000)
Java: 1.7.0-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 21.0-b02
System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb)
Comment 1 Stanislav Aubrecht 2011-03-28 12:33:33 UTC
netbeans doesn't override or use this shortcut key. it doesn't work in plain swing app either (e.g. swingset demo) so it's probably jdk 7 bug
Comment 2 matthies 2011-03-28 13:07:17 UTC
You are right, this is specific to Java 7.
Comment 3 Jesse Glick 2011-03-28 14:50:04 UTC
Did you file it? Need jdk_bug_nnnnnnn in status whiteboard.
Comment 4 matthies 2011-03-28 15:10:37 UTC
It had already been filed (JDK bug 6826397), and fixed this month in build b134.
