During deleting, copy/paste or other text operations exceptions are thrown which make the formerly selected text unable to being edited for as long as the document is open.
Obviously this is related to: http://statistics.netbeans.org/analytics/detail.do?id=172597

Please use a newer build - dev build *201103180400* on
http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/nightly/
or a 7.0 RC1 build.
If the problem persists please file a new issue. Thanks.
