I know that Martin Fousek is looking at web.jsf.navigation. 
Denis, do you know something about xml.jaxb? Not sure if you came across that code or not.

No, I don't. Sorry.
This is not WS functionality but plain XML feature. It has some relationship to 
WS but just because WS also uses JAXB. I had no chance to look at the 
 code in xml.jaxb.

Ok, I am narrowing this task to web.jsf.navigation and assigning to Martin. The other modules mentioned originally are either unmaintained or not maintained by us.

I did few initial fixes in web-main #77eb965e8aae but it looks like these tests were broken for so long time that there will be still much more issues to solve. I'm postponing that for now and I'll take a look on that later again.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
