Description dds.dhawal 2011-02-13 00:34:25 UTC
Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.0 Beta 2 (Build 201102111519)
Java: 1.6.0_23; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 19.0-b09
System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb)
Userdir: C:\Documents and Settings\dhawalsaiya\.netbeans\7.0beta2

I can open multiple netbeans IDE windows by double clicking on the NetBeans IDE 7.0 Beta 2 icon (shortcut created by netbeans installer) under the same user directory. I am getting as many windows open as many times i double click the IDE icon. For example i doubled clicked IDE icon 3times and i got 3 IDE windows open.

I confirm this behavior on Windows 7 also with NetBeans IDE 7.0 Beta 2

with regards
Tushar Joshi, Nagpur

My environment is as follows:

Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.0 Beta 2 (Build 201102052128)
Java: 1.6.0_22; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 17.1-b03
System: Windows 7 version 6.1 running on x86; Cp1252; en_US (nb)
Userdir: C:\Users\Tushar\.netbeans\7.0beta2
Comment 2 Chiana 2011-02-13 12:34:50 UTC
I can confirm the confirmation B-)

I also did an extra check, it seems that NB does indeed create the "lock" file in the profile, but it seems it is either beeing ignored or deemed invalid...
IMHO this is an regression and as such it should be P1.

With today's nightly 201102100500 on Windows 7 x64 this bug doesn't occur.

Thats not a nightly build for today, it's from the 10'th...

It seems that build 6641-on-110214 does not have this problem.
