Vova, please provide the info about the host you tried to connect to.
I cannot reproduce it, it looks like some special symbol was used in the path which led to the exception

move to nblocalization as the exception occurred in the zh_CN locale and I have found the similar IZ http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=176509

Please evaluate

I believe there is no such syntax error in 7.1.
