Sometimes, on a fairly large scale project,it might be non trivial to migrate from Maven 2.X to Maven 3.0. that said, I think it would be great if user could use some sort of migration wizard that would help in completing the task.

My idea goes along with  issue [Bug 191116] 

So any interests on this ?

Generally the IDE provides hints, and if there is a need to fix problems in batch mode, that is done using the same infrastructure.
