Description daniela.waranie 2010-09-22 10:26:00 UTC
On windows you can lock the system when you want to leave the PC for a short time, to prevent a disclosure.

If netbeans main window is stretched over 2 monitors before locking the system and after returning to the system it is only on the primary monitor.

Netbeans should remember its window dimensions and positions on locking/returning.

for example firefox browser behaves the same way so it's very likely windows fault.

Ok, it is not a DEFACT - because netbeans respects standards. Now it is a ENHANCEMENT.

The most user do not expect that a browser can show a webpage across 2 monitors, true. But numerously users of a IDE do have such amount of additional "tool windows" open at the same time, that a very big monitor or a multi-monitor setup is desired. To stretch the netbeans window have some advantages against "flying windows" (e.g. to have only one task manager entry on ALT+TAB for netbeans to switch).

So:
Netbeans should remember its window dimensions and positions on
locking/returning.
