using 6.9.1 php - just curious, in what context does the refactoring rename work??
Comment 3 eklutna 2011-01-13 21:58:12 UTC
I have not been able to refactor anything using PHP in Netbeans 6.9.1. I always see the error "The Rename refactoring cannot be applied in this context". Hoping this bug is addressed.

Same in German:

Workaround: I've found in 6.9.1 that CTRL-R still does the same behavior that the previous version (6.8) did.

Please don't disable this :) I think it's hidden enough that it shouldn't bother people who are willing to deal with the "problems" this may cause, if any.

I have the same issue. I'm using English Netbeans 6.9.1 on Ubuntu 10.10 with latest updates. I can't rename any PHP variable.
