It's a real pain to have to clean and build the project to see what changes the project properties have made in the manifest. Would be really nice to have access to it from the Projects window. The problem is that once it's accessible users will want to edit it. Ideally would be great to have two-way editing, where i could change something in the manifest and have it update in the IDE, but with things like imported packages this would get messy. I guess just having it read-only would be a step, possibly having an option to let me manage my manifest by hand and not write anything to it.
This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue. Thanks for your cooperation, NetBeans IDE 8.2 Release Boss
