If I launch netbeans without having started a view, then netbeans can't see any of the source files. It then silently removes all of the source files and directories from the project xml files. So even if I quit netbeans, start a view, then restart netbeans, the config files are hosed and I need to either recreate all opened projects or restore from backup (thankfully my home directory is snapshotted).
