Description bht 2010-06-26 00:52:50 UTC
Currently there is support for coying files from Windows explorer into an IDE explorer window eg Projects window.

We need support for the other direction, too.

So if I copy a file from the IDE and paste it into an explorer window then the file should appear there.

This is very important for people who use the IDE for the first time. I can ask them to use the IDE as a CVS or Subversion client, check out the project and copy any files they need using drag and drop.

True, d'n'd from explorer to external applications does not seem to work for me on Linux. However the code is implemented. See bug 35228. Assigning to Standa, he will more likely know what is wrong.
