Product Version = NetBeans IDE 6.9 (Build 201006111053)
Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_20
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 16.3-b01

The first message with accentuated characters is OK:
2010-06-20 05:46:19.028 GMT : Le gestionnaire de sécurité a été installé au moyen de la stratégie de sécurité de serveur de base.

The second message is weird:
2010-06-20 05:46:21.274 GMT : Apache Derby Serveur r?©seau - 10.5.3.0 - (802917) d?©marr?© et pr?™t ?† accepter les connexions sur le port 1527

I understand that this issue is from derby side, not NetBeans issue. It has been fixed in newer version of derby.
