Description brucec 2010-05-19 08:27:46 UTC
The "Enter a new issue" link at http://netbeans.org/community/issues.html doesn't work: it redirects to "My Page" instead of going to Bugzilla.

Hello,
thanks for the report.

The link works:

* If I am logged to nb.org already, it goes directly to http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/enter_bug.cgi.

* If I am not logged in, it takes me to the login page first and after successful login it redirects to http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/enter_bug.cgi. Note that if I screw the login, the redirect information is lost and I stay on 'my page'

Entering the URL http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/enter_bug.cgi always directs me to "My page"; I don't know what's broken about my setup!

You should have cookies enabled for this page as it stores some auth tokens in the browser's cookies.

I'm using Firefox 3.6.3 and have 12 cookies from netbeans.org. I tried removing them and having them repopulated but that didn't fix the problem.

Looks like quite a mystery. I tried to reproduce with FF, but no success. Does this happen to you in other browsers?

Thanks,
jan

It doesn't happen in Konqueror 3.5.4.

I've just tried this on Firefox 3.6.3 on FreeBSD at home, and it works - the version that failed was at work behind an HTTP proxy.

I have the same problem. I'm also behind a proxy. It keeps redirecting me to mypage -> I can't file a new issue!

OS: Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit
Browser: Firefox 3.6.3

With IE8 it works, though!

I have just tried from office network behind proxy. FF 7, FF 8 and it works as expected.
