Description esmithbss 2010-04-13 05:25:33 UTC
Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201004120251)
Operating System = Linux version 2.6.32-18-generic running on i386
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_19
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 16.2-b04

When a user like myself uses small fonts where the difference between bolding and non-bolding is not visible (ex: Gnome2 interface set for fonts of 6 and 7 pt Sans), the IDE default of using the system font results in pull down lists like the open files list having little to no distinction between dirty and non-dirty files. (See attached screenshot for an example).

There needs to be an alternate mechanism for identifying dirty files in the lists/tabs which is selectable by the user. In older versions I believe it was an Asterisk preceeding the file name in the list as compared to the newer use of HTML bolding or similar.

Check out the screenshot. The show.html.haml file is dirty, but at first glance (due to the label generation method) it is very difficult to determine it is the dirty file.
