Description gautham mudra 2001-12-05 23:10:56 UTC
The highlight search is able to find the multibytes but then it displays in the
status bar that the mulitbytes were not found.
The steps to reproduce the bug are
steps: 1. open a text editor or html editor
		2.type in some multibytes
3.press <ctr>+f to open search window
4.just select the "Highlight Search" and deselect all others
5.type the multinbytes to be searched.
i have also attached a snapshot of the issue

Comment 3 Jan Kovar 2002-06-26 15:07:03 UTC
I did try to reproduce it and it works as expected. I
think this is not a bug considering also the fact that the
highligth search uses same procedure as the search itself.

The problem why the message 'not found' was shown might be
connected with the fact that if you have cursor positioned
after the searched text and you do not set 'wrap search'
to true the searching is going only from cursor position
to the end of document (from your example is not visible
where the cursor was). Or it also might be connected with
the different issue that if you are inside the searched
string the program did not find it. But this issue was
already fixed.

Anyway I would like to ask you to verify it in the latest
build. Meanwhile I will close this issue and if you will
be able to reproduce it again, please, reopen it.

Consistent use of the I18N keyword.
