I have downloaded and installed Netbeans IDE 6.9(netbeans-6.9m1-linux.sh).In the licence agreement it shows as NETBEANS IDE 6.8 ("Product").

Should be read as NETBEANS IDE 6.9 ("Product") instead?

Known issue. We'll be getting the final licenses quite late in the release cycle. Thanks for bringing it up, tough.
