Case study: The Sample project pet Catalog provides a link to it's tutorial in the associated description edit box within the New Projects wizard: "The Java EE 6 Pet Catalog tutorial can be found at: http://weblogs.java.net/blog/caroljmcdonald/archive/2009/08/java_ee_6_pet_c.html"  This is good.

However, many of the sample projects have online tutorials, but the descriptions do not reference them.  This would be nice information to have included.

Here are two  examples where the links can be added to the descriptions associated with the sample projects in the New Projects wizard:  

NetBeans Modules: Feed Reader -
http://platform.netbeans.org/tutorials/nbm-feedreader.html

NetBeans Modules: Paint Application - http://platform.netbeans.org/tutorials/60/nbm-paintapp.html 

Overall suggestion: please reference tutorials in the description section of sample projects in the New Projects wizard.  Note: Some research will be needed to figure out which projects have tutorials and what their URLs are.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
