Consider the Options dialog box, Fonts & Icons Icon selected with the Highlighting tab.

Notice what happens to the "Category:" listbox when the height and width are decreased.   The listbox isn't totally usable (this is the problem).  

Consider adding minimum widths and heights to dialog boxes throughout the IDE where the functionality is affected with the decrease in dimensions.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
