Oracle JDeveloper has a very nice Tip of the Day feature.

It would be nice if NetBeans had similar functionality.

To be honest, I am turning off such features regardless of software in question.

On the other side, I am sure that it will be welcomed by new NetBeans users, and that it will help them start using IDE.

Conclusion: I will vote for this feature only and only if it can be easily turned off. ;)
