Editing an xml document using a schema. With every popup code completion it says "No documentation found for this item". However, the schema is full of documentation. I'm using http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/persistence/orm/orm_2_0.xsd registered in the xml catalog, comes with NB. I didn't find an issue report specifically about this, though there is Issue 39393 that Jesse filed almost 6 years ago. I don't know if this is a REGRESSION. At http://wiki.netbeans.org/SchemaAwareCodeCompletion it says "The documentation text comes from schema annotation for that item in the schema" so I'm assuming this is a bug and not an enhancement request. Alex, please take a look.
This issue is still present in 7.1. I even used the new file wizard and selected "XML Schema-Constrained Document" as the file type, and the pop-up still says "No documentation found for this item." The schema I used was for xdoc: http://maven.apache.org/xsd/xdoc-2.0.xsd
Any progress here?
Report from old NetBeans version. Due to code changes since it was reported likely not reproducible now. Feel free to reopen if happens in 8.0.2 or 8.1.
