Hi: When there is a link in a Javadoc entry (in the Javadoc window) to a website, I would appreciate the option to have the link open in the user-specified web browser (currently the website opens inside of the Javadoc window).
You can open the displayed page in external browser with the 3rd button (Show documentation in external browser) in the Javadoc window's toolbar. In order to customize the external browser go to Tools->Options->General category.
I'm aware of that option, but that's not what I meant. I want to open all external links in the external browser, but all internal javadoc links to open in the Javadoc window. My reasoning is that most Javadoc entries are short, and easily viewable in a smaller window (the 3rd button would let me open Javadoc entries in a browser for those times when the entry is very long). However, external links are usually to tutorials, etc., which are easily viewable in a smaller window. As well, when viewing tutorials, I probably often want the power of a full-fledged browser (e.g., tabs, various Firefox extensions).
