Description hellochar 2009-06-03 06:47:59 UTC
Whenever I attempt to run a python program from within Netbeans 6.5.1, I get confronted with the error: "NetBeans was
unexpected at this time".
Comment 1 amitksaha 2009-06-25 09:05:41 UTC
Can you please try this with the latest nbPython plugins available in NetBeans 6.7 RC3?
Comment 2 hellochar 2009-07-01 10:57:48 UTC
Tried it with a recent build of nbPython I got from https://nbpython.dev.java.net/, and it's working. Tried it with 6.7 RC
3 and 6.7 official and both are still giving me the same error.

I can't reproduce this with NetBeans 6.7- Windows Vista (32-bit). Please install the plugins from the Plugin Manager.

I had a previously installed version of python (2.6.2) on my computer and I thought that might have been the issue, and I
uninstalled it, but no dice. The sequence of events is basically
a) Install Netbeans 6.7
b) Install python plugin
c) restart Netbeans
d) new Python project
e) run

and it gives me the error. I've tried it with Python 6.5 EA as well.

There are new instructions that "fix" this problem at http://wiki.netbeans.org/Python
