HI. when i tried to install netbean 6.5 for windows vista 32, and using access technology jaws for windows screen reader, the first screen of the installer, not accessible with a screen reader. tells me a button, and then wait for over 10 minutes, and no keyboard access to go to the next screen. so could you make the installer more accessible or another way to run the installer. cheers Marvin.
Please attach the screenshot of the screen where you have to wait for 10 minutes. Please also attach the latest installation log available at %USERPROFILE%/.nbi/log Thanks, Dmitry
Michael, Marian, Did we test A11Y for installer?
Yes, we have A11Y for installer but we have no any test cases for compatibily with screen readers for sure. As for shortcut to page next to Welcome there is such way, but let me check once again.
BTW which version was in use exactly? NB 6.5? 6.5.1? Which bundle of? JDK version?
uf.... we tested with JAWS in 6.5 but only IDE ... I am not aware of anybody testing especially installer with JAWS ;(
Next button is accessible with Tab key. The only thing this dialog is a lot of useless tab stops so one need to press Tab few times without visible changes.
