[ BUILD # : 200905071401 ]
[ JDK VERSION : 1.6.* ]

After launching NetBeans I loaded 2 RoR projects and waited
approximately 10 minutes while the system scanned the projects.

I repeated the process when launching the IDE with both projects auto
loading.

Thanks for the snapshots. I will have to study them more closely, now I can only spot task scanning as a possible 
bottleneck. Could you try whether closing the taks list window before opening the projects makes a difference?
