When you add a ModuleInstaller class with the Wizard other->Module Development -> Module Installer
 
A new entry: OpenIDE-Module-Install: my/xyz/Installer.class  is created in the manifest.mf

When you decide to delete the Installer class again since you did not like it - the delete operation doese not remove
the entry in the manifest.mf file causing an ClassNotFound error when running the app.

You should check option Safely delete (with usage search)...then will be manifest entry removed.
