using Dev (Build 200904261401) 1) with a new user directory start the ide and do not import previous settings 2) now open the new project wizard and select maven from the categories and maven enterprise application from projects and press next and it will take some time to load the next page and at the same time just immediatly after pressing the next button agin press the back button of the wizard 3) now select any project category and the subsequent projects that should display under that category is missing only the java me projects are their. This happens only the first start up with the new user directory
I'm not able to reproduce the issue on latest dev build. Are you able to reproduce? It might be some timing issue related to "at the same time just immediately after".
>>mkubec this happens in Build 200904270201 also. delete your user directory first and in the first attempt when you start the ide and try to create a project the project types are not enabled right ? so now select one and click the next button in wizard and again click the back button in the wizard and then just select another category and see the project types are missing except for java me category. THIS HAPPEN ONLY IN THE FIRST ATTEMPT YOU TRY TO CREAT A PROJECT BY ACTIVATING THE PROJECT TYPE WITH A FRESH USED DIRECTORY AND IF YOU CLOSE THE WIZARD AND COME AGAIN IN SECOND ATTEMPT IT SHOWS. see the attached image also which shows what happened after that.
Created attachment 81053 [details] after the issue
I'm sorry but I'm trying exactly as you described and still not able to reproduce. Did you click Back before the feature is activated or during activation?
>>Did you click Back before the feature is activated or during activation? before the feature is activated
I am able to reproduce it. First start of the full distro of #200904270201, Ctrl+Shift+N, select "Java Web", push "Next >" and once the progress bar starts going forward & backward press "< Back" immediately. When CPU returns to normal select "Java Web" again. No project types are displayed. Milane, if you still can't reproduce it, just come to my office.
I managed to reproduce it on windows so it's probably windows specific. Reassigning to ergonomics.
Just for the record, I am on Ubuntu 7.04. :-)
Pavel improved the next/back/next behaviour recently.
closing.
