Description caesar2k 2009-04-19 04:50:43 UTC
Ok, I'm really trying to make Netbeans my first IDE for PHP, XHTML and Javascript. But I've been banging my head on the
monitor after a few hours, trying to find ways to tweak the PHP code formatter.
There isn't many options to start, "Formatting Tab" dropdown gives "All Language" with only indent, jesus. I've come
from Aptana, and they offer a lot of options to format code. Take a look at their options, and try to do the same for
Netbeans, I will love you all forever.

We already working on providing more formatting options, although this functionality won't be yet ready for NetBeans 6.7

Any chance it could be ready for 6.8 ?
I would love to be able to format according to these http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/coding-standard.html

PHP formatting in Zend Studio works great.
Also a "remove empty lines" functionality (for selection) would be nice.

reassigning to default owner
Comment 5 admirau 2010-07-13 16:03:12 UTC
Well, I think this issue may be closed,
since Netbeans 6.9 PHP formatting options are pretty nice.
Comment 6 Filip Zamboj 2010-09-15 12:28:39 UTC

Comment 7 Petr Pisl 2011-04-17 19:38:43 UTC
