Description Martin Schovanek 2009-04-10 14:59:52 UTC
[#200904100201, jdk1.5.0]

Properties default action changed from Edit to Open. We did the revers change for Nb 5.x with negative users feedback
and we will receive it again. Try to edit eg: the web.core.syntax/nbproject/project.properties file, the current default
editor completely brake the multi-line value formating.

Next after feature freeze it is too late for such changes. Please rollback it.

I understand that some people needs Open and some needs Edit so I would suggest to implement a feature which will
remember latest used open/edit action for given mime-type and this promote to the default action. But stop this never
ending changes.

Agree with feature freeze, probably it was not very good decision to make such change at this time.
I'll roll it back.
Comment 2 Alexey Butenko 2009-04-13 07:47:18 UTC
First of all its not P2 since it doesn't break anything. Multiline formatting it is only about good looking properties files and nothing more.
Reasons for making Open action as default described in 71885. Rolled back for 6.7.
