Hi, Line numbers disappear when I configure my color scheme as Norway Today, or City Lights. It becomes a white strip. It's 100% reproducible. I'm using NB6.7M3.
Created attachment 79461 [details] Screenshot displaying white strip.
Created attachment 85346 [details] example of broken line number background color.
I think the real problem here is that the setting for 'background' on line numbers in the colors pane is broken. It lets you select a color for both background and foreground but only the foreground is effective. You can make the text any color but the background is always white. It looks like the default 'dark' themes are just depending on the background setting on line numbers to work. City lights has reasonably set background to black and foreground to white, but because the background is white no matter what they seem invisible. I attatched a screenshot of the problem. You can see that I've set the background to magenta but it strangely only shows in a space under the line numbers. This is on a mac of course. I'm using hte PHP only setup. So for jorgelouis, its pretty easy to fix, just go to Settings > Fonts and Colors > Highlighting pane and find 'line numbers' in the list then change the foreground to dark grey or black. You'll be able to keep using the dark themes that way. That said its still pretty important to fix this as it looks really dumb to have super-prominent white line numbers with a dark theme, and even with just a mild background (#eee) it looks dumb to have a white bar along the side. If nothing else the default themes shoudl be changed temporarily to have darker foreground colors on line numbers.
