the python console is not unicode-capable terminal such as uxterm or gnome-terminal. 
It is not possible to use module like "sympy" (need to dispay 'alpha', 'beta', math symbol).

Just tested in a Python3 console. It works. Closing this. If this is still an issue, please reopen and accept my apologies.
