This seems like the behavior of the Chat window is strange after this. Any input messages are not added to the conversation list of the author (although messages appear in the partner conversation list). Increasing the priority to P1 because seems like a significant problem.

Here are steps to reproduce: -main menu Window|Kenai -in Kenai dashboard push Login to Kenai... and proceed login -select main menu Window | Chat -select a room XYZ from available rooms -push x-widget of the room XYZ (although the tab doesn't disappear the room XYZ gets available again) -select a room XYZ from available rooms -->> Exception dialog appears
Should be already fixed.
Verified in the following build: Product Version: NetBeans IDE 6.7 Beta (Build 200904220001) Java: 1.5.0_16; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_16-133 System: Mac OS X version 10.5.6 running on i386; MacRoman; en_US (nb)
