Description hippy 2009-02-22 17:10:37 UTC
To duplicate:

Open a Groovy file. Start selecting and deselecting text. Somewhere after about twenty or thirty of these the whole
IDE just freezes up for a few seconds each time new text is selected. After this, the behavior becomes more and more
regular. I found this while moving a bunch a code around, and the IDE became unusable. I had to switch back to using
Eclipse because of this. Once this is fixed, I will move back again.

I didn't notice this behavior in GSP, properties, or other types of files: only Groovy. I have updated the IDE to
whatever is current as of the date of this bug submittal.

Thanks for the report. I'm pretty sure that this is duplicate of issue 152894 (correct me if I'm wrong). This has been
fixed. You can either wait for 6.7M2 (should be available in couple of days) or you can use the last daily build.

Definitely a duplicate. Didn't see the other when I searched: much apologies. Thanks for the fix.

It's ok to file a duplicate. Actually it can show us how many users are affected. Thanks again.
