If you go to Services and create a New Database Connection you get a very nice user friendly dialog.
i.e. : 
Driver name is selectable from a combobox
Database, User Name, Password and additional Props are separate text fields
Remember password is as a tickbox
There is an option to show the Database url as text

When you subsequently right click on that connection and select properties you get a different dialog.
You get the Database URL as text
Driver name is a text field
User Name is a text field
Remember password is as a tickbox
Password is not available
Additional Props is not available

This makes it less friendly to edit your connections.
The New Connection dialog should be reused to display the properties.
