HI I Use the full version of netbeans 6.5 to edit my web projects But I can't write arabic ( my locale language ) ALthough the language is set and i can write in any edtitor like ooowriter,... I'm Using Fedora Core 10 Net Beans 6.5 with no additions ANy Help
So what happens when you try to write arabic? Do you use correct file encoding? It can be set in project properties, but some file (eg. JSPs) can specify their own file encoding. Have you tried arabic in java notepad (eg. run java -jar ${JAVA_HOME}/demo/jfc/Notepad/Notepad.jar)? Did it work? Also please attach here the IDE's messages.log file from <ide-userdir>/var/log/messages.log. Thanks
Created attachment 77026 [details] All Log files
- It stills Write english - I'm using UTF-8 - No, Notepad jar demo doesn't write arabic , it writes english after i switch to arabic - All log files are attached above - One more thing,There's other java IDEs that I'm cabable of writing arabic in it Like Eclipse and arabic is working fine in my system except for netbeans , So I've to write the arabic phrases outside the IDE and copy it later to the IDE in it's right place Thanks Alot
