Hi, I tried to add the S40_Nokia_6212_NFC_SDK_v1_0 to Netbeans. 1. Therefor I went to Tools>Java Platform Manager. 2. Click Add Platform ... 3. Select the Java Micro Edition Platform Emulator button. 4. Then the exception occured The "platform folders" screen isn't displayed I didn't use Netbeans before. I did the following to install: 1. Install jdk1.6.0_12 2. Install Netbeans 6.5 3. Install the Nokia S40 SDK Start Netbeans and tried to add the SDK following the description in Nokia SDk instal guide.
Thanks!
Just some additional Info: When I go on Add Platform I can see the "Select platform type" screen. I can select *Java Standard Edition *Java ME MIDP Platform Edition *Custom Java ME MIDP Platform Edition *Java ME CDC Platform Emulator The Exception occurs in the moment when I click on the "Java ME MIDP Platform Edition" Button. All other buttons work fine.
Hello, a small hint: I uninstalled the JDK 1.6 and I installed JDK 1.5 update 17 and told NetBeans to use this JDK. The problem does not show up with JDK 1.5. The problem is evidend with JDK 1.6. Regards, Marco - stocktrader -

There is a very similar report for NBAndroid http://kenai.com/jira/browse/NBANDROID-41 While J2SE developers can use the default platform this is a blocker for J2ME/Android projects so this sounds more like P2 to me. Adding JDK_SPECIFIC - all reports are JDK6b12+ And according to http://www.nabble.com/Need-%22process%27-help...-td20797793.html platform module might not be the source of the problem.
Still can not reproduce. I have added some better logs. fixed on my HD
