Description: [FFJ Build 010712_1 CE , Red Hat Linux 6.2 with JDK 1.3.1] Step to reproduce: ------------------ 1) open XML document in XML Editor 2) select some Attribute or Attributes node 3) at customizer set value with reference e.g.: 'a<b' or modify att. value with reference 4) click to another field The IDE throws Warning dialog 'Invalid attribute value violating argument ...'. Evaluation: xxx@xxxx 2001-07-13 It is as designed at this time and at this release. But this could be improved in next release. A comment.

It is clear low priority enhancement until someone vote for it.

XML tree editor is not part of NetBeans since 3.5 version. No plans to bring it back.
