Text ovelapping takes place in text code editor in cpp. we have checked this issue 141963.
 
http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=141963.. But we are getting the same in editor ui page. 

we have attached screen shot along this. Please check it and reply as early as possible.

My os is Ubuntu 8(linux) and java version s 1.6.0_10..

this is problem with video driver, see issue 149260, there is described how to solve it
