This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
1. Install NetBeans with bundled GlassFish V2. 2. Build NetBeans from fresh sources and start it with fresh userdir. 3. Rightclick "Servers" node in "Services" window and choose "Add Server...". 4. Choose GlasFish V2 and click "Next". Result: Default suggested path is "/Users/<User>/glassfish-v2ur2", but installer installs GlassFish by default in "/Applications/NetBeans/glassfish-v2ur2".
What is the default value, if you start the bits that you installed in step 1, instead of the build that you created in step 2?
"/Applications/NetBeans/glassfish-v2ur2" Note, that this issue is reproducible on Mac OS X, and mostly applications are installed into "/Applications/" folder.
So, this issue cannot be reproduced when the products are installed... but not when the products are built. Putting changes into the code to 'fix' this seems like a lower priority issue.
