Description egivandor 2009-01-06 11:06:12 UTC
I have Netbeans 6.5, my partner has Netbeans 6.1. I dragged a file to the file sharing window, and the
characters(Öéáőúű) by ma partner appeared wrong. The encoding of the document was in UTF-8, and it appeared as cp1250 or
latin2.

seems valid for collab situation to be between files that might
be in different project encoding (since 6.1 and 6.5 both have the feq

what is the project encoding of each project here ?

if they are different, but the file is shared, what should be the encoding
used to display it ? if everything was utf-8 that could be ok, but its
not that way and legacy encodings still exist and windows does not have
locale that has utf-8 as default encoding.

Reassigning to issues@collab. Collab Support plugin is not actively maintained.

Obsoleted in 6.7 by the newly introduced integration with Project Kenai, a
collaborative environment for developers to host their open-source projects,
which includes also a chat service.
