Description kaa 2008-12-05 16:47:50 UTC
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 081204)
Java: 1.6.0_06; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 10.0-b22
System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; MS932; ja_JP (nb)
I used --fontsize 16 startup option.

1. Start the IDE
2. Open Help -> Help Contents

Help dialog appears. It has 2 problems:

1. The dialog uses font size 16th for the contents only.
Help text is shown with the default font size.
Changing font size is a valid option for a user especially for working with help documents.

2. Help Contents items look close to each other (with font size 16).
Lower parts of characters are not properly visible. This may affect non-English languages as well.

This is not an issue specific to "ergonomics IDE", reassigning.

It seems to me, the issue 32667 concerns only the first step from above.
As far as I got from the description there were no any complaints about invisible parts of characters.
I think this issue is more general.
