When adding a package component into class diagram editor and changing its name, you cannot use dots. You can of course
put in more package components and make a chain, yet in a typical diagram there is, I believe, rarely more then one
package (fully qualified). Thence it would be much more convenient to express the whole chain with just one component
allowing dots in its name (as some other UML tools allow).
