There is basic "Safe Delete" support for files since http://hg.netbeans.org/javafx/rev/8ce6b92e737e

There is the Safe Delete option on the Delete dialog.

But in some cases it does not work. See issue 181831 

Verified in NetBeans-JavaFX-Soma:  #181
