When i create a new (web) project and add gwt in the course of the project creation wizard, it works ok, but when i try 
to add the gwt framework to an existing project using project > properties > frameworks, nothing seems to happen.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
