If a QuickSearch category is longer than 14 characters the QuickSearch box does not render correctly. See attached 
screen shots.

Works for me. For instance pre installed category is "Maven Repositories" (18 chars) and it is rendered correctly.

I agree, it now works properly in Netbeans Platform 6.9.1.
