Hi there. I have added a 'compile' button to the toolbar, but when I press it, the source file becomes corrupted. This seems to happen every third compilation or so. The file is held on an NT server, but the file system is overlaid with a transparent (ha!) version control system called Rational ClearCase ... however, none of the JBuilder users have the same problem.
It is impossible to find out the problem, if we do not know how the file is corrupted. Is possible to give us some example?
I'm trying at the moment. I have set up a separate area so that I can keep the corrupted file if it happens again. I'll attach the file as soon as it happens.
Created attachment 2414 [details] This is the source file after I hit the compile button ...
Right. The same problem has now started affecting our JBuilder users. So I think we can safely assume that this is NOT a bug in NetBeans. Sorry to have troubled you.
Thank you.
