Description Roman Mostyka 2008-10-17 13:46:52 UTC
Not all plugins are available on UC.
I tried to install "Sakila Sample Database" plugin, but I haven't found it in the list. For build from the trunk
everything is fine.
Comment 1 Jiri Kovalsky 2008-10-17 14:11:07 UTC
This is already being tracked as another issue. Thanks for your report anyway!

*** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 146161 ***
Comment 2 Roman Mostyka 2008-10-17 14:38:18 UTC
Actually it isn't duplicate. I installed latest RC1 and found there only 30 plugins, but they should be much more.
And as I wrote "For build from the trunk everything is fine", so the problem is in UC and not only for the Sakila.
Comment 3 rnovak 2008-10-17 17:11:01 UTC
"Sakila Sample Database" plugin is not listed in the plan for NB 6.5 UC:
http://wiki.netbeans.org/NB65StableModulesUC
therefore it is not available.

Plugin has to go through the standard procedure in order to get published on the UC. Module developer has to request the
publishing.

I went through the AUC standard procedure, and got approved, request id #417

Here is the email that was sent on my behalf:

Dear AU masters,

I turn to you in the hope of getting my module(s) published on your
NetBeans Auto Update Center. Please process this request in a timely
manner and keep me informed about its progress.

Thank you,
david.vancouvering@sun.com

I believe this fell through the tracks. We need to have this plugin on the Stable AUC. What do we do to get this done?
Comment 5 David Vancouvering 2008-10-17 18:03:37 UTC
If I remember right, Jiri tried to set this up with the beta release, but the plugin relies on changes that were done
after beta. I *thought* he said he'd get this set up when we made the FCS branch.
Comment 6 Roman Mostyka 2008-10-21 09:53:49 UTC
OK, now "Sakila Sample Database" plugin is available on AUC for the RC1.
Comment 7 Roman Mostyka 2008-10-21 09:54:07 UTC
Verified.
