Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200810140201) Java: 1.6.0_10; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.0-b15 System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1250; cs_CZ (nb) Text in the bottom of a task list is very hard to read on Windows (see the screenshot), in spite of the fact it contains some information that might be actually used (it is different from texts in panels with no content, for example). Please use normal (not disabled) text and maybe polish the text a little, for example "TODO count: 1 (in all opened projects)". Note: Use of grayed-out font was abandoned elsewhere too, see issue 145322.

grayed-out (disabled) is used on request from HIE team to make that part of task list status line less prominent. reassigning to HIE for evaluation
Agreed. Please make the text black and change it to: - TODO: 7 (in all opened projects) - To make the number stand out a bit more, maybe make the space between the number and parentheses a bit wider than a single space.
