I am pretty sure I know the cause and it should be an easy fix. I am making this a P1 because there does not appear to
be a workaround.

Can you please attach the message log to this issue, that would be very helpful.
Comment 3 Roman Mostyka 2008-09-30 17:37:49 UTC
Strange, but I can't reproduce it with latest build.
But anyway, David, if you know possible reason, please look at it. Thanks.
Comment 4 David Vancouvering 2008-10-01 22:05:39 UTC
I can't reproduce and this means there is little I can I without a stack trace. Marking as incomplete until we get a stack trace.
Comment 5 azizi 2008-10-02 05:12:11 UTC
I can reproduce it in my computer again and again.
where can i make a stack trace for you?
Comment 6 John Baker 2008-10-02 05:20:43 UTC
click the Create a new attachment in the Attachments section and attach a text file
Comment 7 azizi 2008-10-02 06:41:02 UTC
I know how to attach files here. :D
the question is that, when Davidvc needs a stack trace and i have not any, where can i make it for him.
as you may know this problem do not make any exception.
just show a message box as you can see in attachments here: (id=70910)

I also check the log file, nothing interesting there.
what can i do for you now?
Comment 8 John Baker 2008-10-02 07:00:39 UTC
Attach messages.log from your userdir located in the var/log directory

userdir location is in the Help->About box
Comment 9 John Baker 2008-10-02 07:01:02 UTC
Thank you!
Comment 10 David Vancouvering 2008-10-07 18:27:34 UTC
azizi - I am closing this issue because we can't reproduce it and we have not received a message log from you. Please
reopen if you can stil reproduce from the latest nightly build (http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/nightly/latest) and you
have attached the message log to this bug report.

Thanks!
Comment 11 azizi 2008-10-09 17:31:25 UTC

azizi from the last screenshot, the version of NetBeans is from Sept 21. Could you try the latest nightly build and
then let us know if you still have the same problem -
http://bits.netbeans.org/download/trunk/nightly/latest/
Thank you
Comment 14 David Vancouvering 2008-10-09 18:36:19 UTC
We really really really need the error log. Is there some reason you can't attach it?

It is located in the userdir under var/log/messages.

You can find the userdir location for your installation of NetBeans by going to Help->About (or NetBeans->About on Mac)
and it will show you the location of the userdir.

PLEASE attach it or we just can't do anything to help you.

Once you have attached it, please remote the INCOMPLETE keyword.

We will not be doing any work on this issue until we can get the message log.
Comment 15 David Vancouvering 2008-10-09 18:36:53 UTC
I meant "remove the INCOMPLETE keyword" not "remote the INCOMPLETE keyword"
Comment 16 azizi 2008-10-09 21:07:21 UTC
Oh, Sorry. I attach it now.

Comment 18 John Baker 2008-10-09 21:19:25 UTC
azizi can you try the latest nightly build.

If still can't create a table, probably not a reason, but your Java is a little old.
The latest is release candidate 1.6.0_10

Comment 19 David Vancouvering 2008-10-09 22:09:15 UTC
Well, the exception stack trace is not in the log. The log is refreshed every time you start NetBeans, so you need to
attach the log when you get the error and before restarting NetBeans.

Try this:

- Bring up NetBeans
- Reproduce the error
- Attach the message log

Also, please get the nightly build at http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/nightly/latest and see if you can reproduce it there.

Thanks!

David
Comment 20 David Vancouvering 2008-10-09 22:11:42 UTC
Sorry, need to mark it INCOMPLETE again until you (a) have tried the latest nightly build and (b) have attached a
message log before restarting NetBeans. I'm really not trying to be difficult, but we do need to make sure you are
up-to-date and that we have the information we need before we can do much with this.

Also, just for the record, I don't believe this issue has anything to do with your JDK version. I wouldn't bother
upgrading your JDK.

Thanks,

David
Comment 21 azizi 2008-10-10 08:31:11 UTC
Yes, I know that. I send you the last one.
The last log file is message.log and also netbeans backup the other lasts with massage.log.1 and .2 name.
i check them too, nothing interesting there.
Now I'm going to download the last version and sending the result here.
Comment 22 azizi 2008-10-15 19:38:05 UTC
I check it with new netbeans version,
it's work. So problem may resolved.
